The wind had picked up,  not the most ideal conditions for a newbie rc heli pilot... But not deterred by atmospheric conditions, I switched on the radio control, plugged in the battery, and brought the blades up to speed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In hindsight I may of hit the gas a little to speedily and the chopper rose quite suddenly to about 3-4 meters ... Not too perturbed I reduced the throttle slightly to rain back in the blade cx2 when a large gust of wind caught my little beast unawares, turning in on its side, and sending it speeding to terra-firma...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had prepared my self for the worst, but in the back of my mind I  knew I had the  indestructible skids, the lexan plastic canopy, the  new blade grip system which meant the blades bent backwards instead of breaking, and the carbon tail boom.. All this meant my  cx2 had a chance...
